YouTube Workout Challenge, Day 12 (should be 15)

I went on vacation with the  best intentions of working out with videos on my tablet everyday, but didn’t follow through. It rained a fair amount, so I can’t even claim to have done a lot of walking. Instead, I worked, I ate, and I sat on the balcony and watched the rain and the ocean. It was wonderful and I don’t feel a shred of guilt for getting behind on my workout challenge.

Back in the saddle, today, though. I did A Zumba abs video.

Verdict: I loved it! 4 songs, just about 18 minutes of workout. The moves focused on contracting the abs through dance steps. As always, the instructors were good and the music was great. I think getting back into Zumba will be one thing that really sticks with me after this challenge.

YouTube Workout Challenge, Day 7

I used to go to Zumba regularly, but haven’t been to a class in a while. I missed the dancing and the music, so I decided to do a Zumba workout on YouTube for today’s challenge.

I did: Latin Dance Fitness, Beginners 1

Verdict: Loved it! It was 4 songs, 16 minutes, lots of energy. The Instructor didn’t give any verbal cues, which was fine because i knew the moves, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner. I will definitely come back to this one.
